Hunt’s Manwich Bold Sloppy Joe Sauce

If you’ve ever had to have your lunch in only 15 minutes, you’ve probably considered Sloppy Joe. This isn’t a bad choice, as long as you don’t go for a can of Hunt’s Bold Sloppy Joe Sauce. Alongside tomato puree, this can is filled with high fructose corn syrup and corn syrup.

The issue with high fructose corn syrup is that it’s rich in a certain type of sugar called fructose. Given the fact that your liver is the only organ that can metabolize fructose if you eat a lot of it, you might have some health issues, like high blood pressure, belly fat, heart disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and even insulin resistance.

  4. Luckily, I do not use any of the listed foods. I do like Spam Classic and use corned beef, but make my own hash, by adding fresh diced potatoes and onions with some seasonings. I read the nutrition labels each time I shop. Avoiding sucrolouse, aspartame, high fructose corn syrup, etc… Shopping smart and healthy for my wife and myself is a full time job!

  5. Thanks for the info! I don’t use any of those products but it makes me sad to think that the manufacturers are able to use such horrible ingredients and get away with it. Don’t use fluoride toothpaste or get vaccines either, both will harm you.

    1. Vaccines have saved lives for years , with few exceptions. Did we learn nothing from all the lives lost with Covid … It is now the 5th leading cause of death . 8. Thankfully….I don’t use any of those products. But I will be checking the labels more carefully on products I do buy. Gave up most forms of meat over 30 years ago, so I don’t purchase canned meats, even for our emergency food preparations. Dog loves canned chicken though…washed first to reduce the sodium.

  9. It’s a shame that somewhere along the way, BIG PHARMA took over our so called food supply & corrupted it to the point where it’s not even food anymore & we won’t even talk about so called fast foods which kill people slowly if not speedily. But the sad part is it’s really difficult to eat healthy if you have to shop at a local supermarket where most of the stuff is processed poison with ingredients/chemicals you can’t even pronounce. at ridiculous prices….

  10. Yeah but Old El Paso also makes Fat-free refried beans and Vegetarian refried beans with no lard.
I just looks at the ones on my shelf and they are fine.

  11. Hash is great if you are climbing a high mountain and will be exposed to 0 degr temps and winds and need to burn 16,000 calories/day just to stay warm. Otherwise, it is a lot of calories

  12. Vaccines will save many many lives. I’m thankful for them. I am all caught up on flu and covid vaccinations at my physician’s recommendation.

  13. Thanks For The Important Information It Is Unconsciousable That The United States Government Doesn’t Care Enough About Their People To Ban All These Chemicals That Can Kill Our People..Thanks Again.🙏🙏🙏
