6. Different injuries
As we already stated at the beginning of this article, injuries are one of the most common causes of lower back pain in seniors. Whether you carried a heavy object on the stairs or suffered from an injury a while ago, chances are that you developed lower back pain.
It’s also common for athletes to develop this type of pain due to their active lifestyle and the pressure they put on their joints and muscles. But don’t think that only those who do a lot of sports or workouts are the ones who can develop this sort of pain.
Another one of the most common causes of lower back pain is picking up a child and carrying it for too long. You might say that they’re only tiny humans and it’s not a big deal, but it’s an extra weight you have to carry, so be careful when your beloved grandchildren jump in your arms because you don’t want to hurt your back.
