Forest bathing benefit: Decreased risk of heart attack
Numerous forest bathing studies have revealed its ability to greatly reduce stress levels, blood pressure, and pulse rate. A journey through the woods can also increase a person’s adiponectin levels.
These levels have an anti-inflammatory effect on blood vessel cells and have been proven to decrease the risk of heart attack.
Forest bathing benefit: Soothing relief for sore muscles

Two groups of people with neck pain tried forest bathing. The difference is that one group added a four-hour stretching and strengthening exercise. The exercise group reduced pain and tight trigger points in their neck area.
But inflammation, pain, and range of motion in the group that didn’t exercise were just as good.
