Big franchise chain restaurants are usually the unsung heroes of anniversaries, affordable first-dates, and for any bachelor whose cooking skills begin and end in front of a microwave. But a few of these restaurants stand out from the rest as far as consistency, trademark dishes, and, of course, value.
They dominate the American food experience, being cheap, fast, and filling. You can take your family or walk in solo, and it’s ALWAYS all good. You can get a decent burger, a yummy plate of pasta, some “not half bad” tacos, and all the fried chicken you could want.
These chains get straight A’s for offering families healthy and tasty food, sometimes with a side of fun. It’s a formula that’s served these family restaurant chains well over the years and is perhaps the reason for their success!

Denny’s, with Black Angus and Red Lobster a distant second and third. IHOP for breakfast.
Denney’s used to be a great place to eat but the company is almost out of business. What a shame.

your list contains alot of my favorite it just depends upon what my stomach wants to eat
Denny’s raised the price of food and quality went down. Some thing raw or over cook food.
C ,& H Cafe next to the Shell gas station at the corner of Sunrise and Greenback. Their menu include really tasty omelets.
Longhorn has gotten too expensive,. There are better values out there. Cheesecake factory has huge portions but their alcohol is more expensive than some fine dining restaurants. I won’t got there anymore because i wont spend $9 for a domestic draft.
These are all great family restaurants as I visit most of them on a regular basis. However, don’t forget about the privately owned family restaurants located in your own towns and cities.
Many of them have great menus and prices, including Friday fish fry that are very family friendly. The only negative issue about the privately owned family restaurants is after post Covid many of them now only stay open from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. , but stay open later on Fridays and Saturdays.
